Robe en tricot à manche courte avec col style polo et poche optionnelle zippée au côté, parfaite pour le golf ou le tennis. La découpe princesse facilite les ajustements. La manche est finie avec une bande étroite.

L'ourlet de la robe arrive au-dessus du genou et peut être portée avec les shorts Stella ou Clara (ces deux patrons vont jusqu'à taille FF/GG).

A fun sew!

Finally! A golf dress pattern. I made the dress 3 times from the pdf. 2 for me and one as a gift.
The dress itself is a bit boxy and long, so from fit perspective I brought in the waist line 1/2" on all the pattern pieces and shortened it by 3 ". They turned out perfect! I also made the compression shorts from another pattern because I shortened the dress so much.
The instructions are a bit light on details but as an experienced sewer I had no problem. It would be challenging for a first time sewer. Also I can't imagine making this without a serger.
So one star off for boxy fit and directions that caused me to think. 🙃

Very quick and easy pattern. Sits well and looks great. Shortened the sleeves and overall length. I use for golf and it is comfortable to play in. Will be making more. Thank you.

My son loves his new pullover

The pattern drafting is excellent. I rated this a 4 out of 5 because of the scant sewing instructions. A new sewer would likely not be able to manage this pattern without additional assistance.
I used a couple pieces of French Terry from my stash.

Very cute

Pattern was easy to print and assemble and the sewing instructions were very clear. The skirt for my daughter turned out so cute!

Swim shorts

I don’t understand why every Jalie pattern has built in underwear that is designed to be a wedgie in the making. I have a smaller than average butt and I still can’t get the undergarment to fully cover me. It’s ridiculous, especially in a skating outfit. Please stop designing athletic wear with built-in underwear that goes right up the wearer’s crack. It would also be useful to have the finished garment measurements for fitting purposes.

Fun layered skirt

The hardest thing about making this layered skirt was deciding what combination of fabrics to use! Making it for my adult daughter was super easy. I attach the photo taken of her at an outdoor rink in Norway.
