Bought the paper pattern years ago. Made a few t shirts for my husband for Christmas. Had enough left over for some trunks. He tried on the first pair yesterday. So relieved! The fit is spot on, and super fun in matching prints with his tee shirts. I used ITY.

I may try some for my son next!

At last a company that makes patterns for men that actually work and fit first time. Not a significant pattern in its own right but as a beginner with lots of small practise fabrics to use up this was ideal to test my new found passion and hobby since lockdown started this year. Have got several patterns from here and now have the confidence that they will help me to make something other than masks etc. Thank you Jalie, I can't reccomend you enough!

I tried two patterns from other companies. Not the fit or style I wanted. This one (I made the high waisted brief) easy make, does not look home made and fits great. High waist on a size Z come in just below belly button. Perfect. Used a 4 way stretch scrap from a T shirt I had made. Making more.

I love this pattern as I can use it for the whole family.
I first started with my daughter and made her the low rise panties. I used FOE instead of folding over, and she loves them.
I then started making low rise for myself. It is a little too low for me, so I raised it an inch and then it is perfect.
I made my son a half dozen briefs. I didn't use the elastic in the legs, as he has thick legs. He says they are very comfortable. My son wanted the thong, but it doesn't go down to size 8. LOL

I am a little late to the party on this one, but I whipped up a pair of the trunks for my husband to see how they compared to some pricey RTW ones he likes. I even managed to add a stretch mesh support, uh, sling inside like the RTW ones have (they call it a “ball park”...heh, heh). He likes the Jalie pair just as well, if not better! With the instructional video for these (thank you!), they are super quick to sew up.
