Sewing pattern for a fitted dress with back zip and optional attached briefs

  • High neck
  • Long pointed sleeve with finger loop
  • Shaped hem that elongates the leg

Made it in a stretch fleece (one size up) without the briefs for a great skirted jacket over fun 3027 tights and keeps the little ones warm on the ice!

Love and easy to sew

Jalie has the best patterns that are super easy to print, put together, size and sew. Not all pattern makers are the same. With Jalie you get 5 downloads and always have access to your account which is very important, while other companys have one or 2 downloads within X amount of days then you are done. Jalies web site was built with their customer in mind. I have purched many patterns of theirs and each one sews out great. Love this company.

Versatile pattern

My skater wanted a catsuit with a collar, long sleeves with finger and no centre front seam. I took her request to a new level of difficulty suggesting she could have an appliqué snake wrapping one arm and the illusion of off the shoulder meaning I would also need to do a concealed zipper.

Pattern sizing was accurate. The only alteration I needed was to reduce the height of the collar. I joined trouser half from pattern 3239 which I did have to fiddled about with. I increased the width at the ankle as I really intended my skater to wear the costume over her ice skates. I made matching boot covers (not shown in photo) and I think she wore those over her trousers but it's hard to tell as the fabric pattern is so busy.
